Bio

I taught myself guitar when I was twenty, finger-picking styles and classical. I passed grade 8 classical guitar with Trinity Guildhall. I teach singing and guitar, vocalize as a solo act with guitar and sometimes harmonica.

In South Africa, the Shell oil company run a music competition (Shell Road To Fame). It is televised with large prize money. It is the same as X-Factor in every respect. Many years ago, I won the songwriting section with my reggae song Slippin' Away. For some years I toured South Africa with my solo act playing restaurants, wine estates and pubs.

Song writing is my greatest talent. I find it easy, and within a day I can produce a meaningful song with poignant lyrics.

Should anyone require a song for a loved one, marriage, birthday, funeral or for any reason, give me their information and I will write the song. I could sing it with guitar – played live, or produce a CD in the studio
